Solar Depot (PT ATW Sejahtera) has officially established a strategic distribution partnership with SEG Solar (SEG), a U.S. based manufacturer of photovoltaic (PV) modules. This collaboration aims to accelerate the availability and adoption of solar energy solutions across the utility, commercial, and residential sectors in Indonesia.

This collaboration enables Solar Depot (PT ATW Sejahtera) to leverage its extensive expertise in the Indonesian energy investment landscape to strengthen SEG’s market presence. Conversely, SEG will provide comprehensive support to facilitate sustained growth within the clean energy sector, driving significant contributions to both the local economy and community development.

Antonius Weno, Founder and Chairman of ATW Group, expressed his optimism about the collaboration, noting Indonesia’s vast solar resources and the national target of 4.68 GW of photovoltaic power generation by 2030. He emphasized that this strategic alliance with SEG is a key move for Solar Depot (PT ATW Sejahtera) to enhance customer value and support sustainable development in the local PV market.

Jun Zhuge, Founder and COO of SEG, highlighted the importance of the collaboration with Solar Depot (PT ATW Sejahtera), noting their successful track record of over 80 MW in investment projects across Indonesia. This partnership provides SEG with a strategic opportunity to build a stronger connection with the Indonesian market, aligning with their regional diversification goals and global ambitions in renewable energy.

Prior to this alliance, SEG had already shown its commitment to the region by securing a lease agreement with the KITB. This involves a $500 million investment to develop a 5 GW solar cell and 3 GW solar module production line, which is set to become one of the largest solar manufacturing facilities in Indonesia.

The partnership also brings SEG’s high performance technology to the forefront, specifically the YUKON series N-type TOPCon modules. These products are gaining momentum in the Indonesian market for their efficiency and reliability. With a power range from 415W to 585W, the YUKON N series is designed to handle everything from residential rooftops to large scale ground station projects.
